

Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Kyleigh Taylor grew up in a family of music enthusiasts, pianists, and singers. She began singing at age four, playing piano at age six, and the viola at age ten, quickly developing a love for orchestral music. This love for the orchestra is evident in her compositions and she enjoys creating warmth through experimentation with strings and synths.

She is currently studying music composition and film scoring at the University of Tulsa.
She collaborates with university peers on film projects and music arrangements, and has written scores for student short films. Upon graduation she plans to pursue a film scoring masters degree and compose for films and television.

Her first composition for the award winning television docuseries “Girl Unscripted” earned her awards and recognition from fourteen different film festivals.
